Unified Data Enables Faster and More Informed Market Decisions
The Challenge
The organization faced a challenge in equipping its Market & Operations team with timely, actionable insights due to fragmented data sources—including market feeds, company filings, and social media. This siloed information environment made it difficult to uncover connections, synthesize intelligence, and support strategic decision-making. The need was to centralize and transform this data into a unified, accessible platform to drive more informed negotiations and maintain a competitive edge.
The Solution
To address this, a sophisticated Knowledge Engine was developed in partnership with 66degrees. The solution combined a knowledge graph database (Neo4j) to model complex entity relationships and a vector database (Pinecone) for semantic search across unstructured data. Automated pipelines ingested up to 15 internal BigQuery datasets and 5 external API sources, while Large Language Models (LLMs) powered advanced data processing tasks such as Named Entity Recognition (using Flair), relationship extraction, and a Hybrid RAG system. Initially prototyped in Streamlit, the solution was later integrated into existing platforms to enable natural language querying of rich, interconnected data.
The Result
Accelerated Decision-Making: Real-time, contextualized insights enabled faster, data-driven decisions for the Market & Operations team.
Improved Data Accessibility: Integrated with familiar interfaces, the solution democratized access to complex analytics, increasing user adoption and engagement.
Deeper Market Understanding: Uncovered hidden relationships and patterns across diverse data sources, enhancing strategic planning and negotiation capabilities.
Future-Ready Architecture: Established a scalable foundation for continued AI-driven innovation, supporting long-term competitive advantage.
